What is it?

This is a cat farming game of my dreams. It’s like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and my pet cat Dax all got together and made a video game. It’s so dang cute we can barely take it!

Snacko is a game that draws a lot of inspiration from the titles we played growing up, both visually and thematically. Story of Seasons and Animal Crossing are obvious, but others like the art of the early Pokémon games, or the feel of games like Ragnarok Online also played a part. We wanted to make a game that plays homage to the things we love, but also put our own spin on it. Also cat puns. Lots and lots of cat puns.

Why did we pick this game?

Mostly because it’s adorable but also because who doesn’t want another farming sim but this time you get to be a cat? It also has a gorgeous soundtrack which you can preview on the Kickstarter page. Seriously, it’s absolutely delightful and I can not wait to play this game. We have to fund this.

When will it be available?

The game will be released in August of 2021
