What is it?

Tapiru: A Bubble Tea Game was originally released at the Tokyo Game Market (Autumn 2019) as a limited prototype run of 50 copies. This new edition will feature improved components and it’s just $16 for a copy plus shipping. The creator designed the game because they wanted to create a light 2-player game to play with their friends and family. It may not be easy to run out to your favorite boba shop during these unfortunate times but you can enjoy this board game version of bubble tea at home with your favorite fellow quarantiners. Here is the free print n' play file and rules (will be updated in the future) for personal use while you wait for the game to arrive. 

Why did we pick this game?

We picked this game because this is Elaine’s first tabletop gaming project on Kickstarter and they’ve backed several other games themselves. including projects we’ve loved like PARKS and Root. We want to promote active members of our community, especially ones who you might now have heard of.

The game will be released in October of 2020.
