Chai High Tea
What is it?
Chai is a 1-5 player game where you take on the role of a merchant racing to collect ingredients to fulfill customers’ thirst for tea. Think Diner Dash meets Teavana, but in board game form. Chai was designed by Dan and Connie Kazmaier and successfully funded on Kickstarter back in Winter 2018, but it’s back with a new expansion called Chai: High Tea. The expansion includes transparent dice and six new double-sided ability boards for a total of 12 unique abilities.
Why did we pick this game?
Chai is a relaxing, immersive game with gorgeous components that really make you feel like you’re enjoying a piping hot cup of tea. It also features beautiful illustrations of diverse characters and worldwide tea flavors ranging from horchata to Maghrebi mint tea. When will it be available?
The game will be released in June of 2020.
