Tumble Towns: How to Play
Tumble Town is in need of a new Mayor! It’s your job to finally realize your dream of managing your very own town in the West! In order to accomplish this you must win the vote of the townspeople by developing the best town plan.
Plan the construction of buildings carefully to get and manipulate resources to build the next building. Choose buildings that match your specific style icon while balancing form and function and place the buildings on Main Street to give the people what they want!
Your turn will happen in four steps.
First, claim a building plan from one of 3 tiers. You might want a building plan if the constructed building gives you a power that will help you build future buildings or has a style icon that gives you bonus points.
Next, take the dice indicated on the back of the deck of the building plan row. Roll the dice and place them into your Storehouse.
Now, you’re ready to construct your building. You may use any of your previously constructed building powers you’d like in order to help you meet the requirements on this building plan. Once you have met the requirements to construct a building, stack the dice resources in the shape on the card and place the building onto your Main Street. Each matching placement earns you another vote for Mayor!
Each building plan has the requirements for construction. The building shows the number and color of dice materials required to build it. The top of the building shows what values those dice need to be in order to finish the construction.
The requirements might be simple, like having all dice between 2 and 5, or more complicated, like having all dice of different values or even the sum of all dice above or below a specific value.
Tumble Town’s elegantly simple turns make it an easy teach to those new to the hobby yet the game’s choices are strategically satisfying to experienced gamers. There is no better feeling than seeing your town that you built, brick by brick, at the end of the game.
